Caroline

Caroline has 22 years experience in financial services and has worked within large corporate financial organisations such as Aegon, Lloyds Banking Group and Standard Life.  She has a wide array of experience in financial services working in areas such as credit control, pensions, investments, life cover and mortgages.  Laterally Caroline decided to focus on specialising in Mortgages and Protection.

Whilst Caroline offers advice on all mortgage types she is a self employed mortgage specialist and has extensive knowledge and experience that help her to navigate her way through the most complicated mortgage applications.

Caroline’s family are most important to her and their protection is of utmost importance, for this reason she applies these standards to all her clients and prides herself on ensuring that her clients have the correct protection in place to protect their families.  “Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself”

Caroline is married and has a young son, they enjoy exploring anywhere new!  Whether that be new places in the UK or new countries all over the world. Their favourite place is Aviemore.

Shelagh is an experienced Mortgage Adviser who qualified in 2001. She is very passionate and prides herself on being able to use her valuable expertise to provide her clients with a personal bespoke service knowing that it is put to good use for all types of mortgage requirements, such as First Time Buyers, Movers, Remortgages and Buy to Let, both around the Scottish Borders, where she is based, and throughout the UK.

Shelagh is passionate about ensuring that her clients have the correct protection in place to protect themselves and their families.

Shelagh enjoys horse riding and walking with her whippet, Talla, in the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Scottish Borders as well as further afield.

Initial mortgage consultation is free. For our mortgage advice services, we will charge a fee of between £495 and £1995. For example: typically, a standard mortgage fee would be £495. More complicated cases will be capped at £1995. The fee is payable upon the issue of an offer letter by the lender.
